Colton Knox

Real Estate Broker

Chicago has been home for Colton since 2013. Immediately after completing his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arkansas, he headed to the Midwest. “I knew I wanted to live in a vibrant, diverse city. Chicago offered a big change of pace from my small hometown,” Colton says of his choice to move to Chicago.

A decade later, he says, “the friends I’ve made, the beauty of the city, and the ease of living here are why I keep calling Chicago home.”

After eight years working in urban development, Colton changed careers to be a real estate broker. In his previous roles, he worked in neighborhoods from the far south side to Howard updating utility infrastructure for the city’s residents. This gave Colton a unique view of Chicago as he has worked in nearly every neighborhood in the city.

Helping people achieve their goals is what drives Colton in his real estate career. “There’s nothing like watching a buyer’s eyes light up when they’ve found their perfect home!” he says. But the real joy is guiding his clients to make sure that their eyes are lighting up for the right home. “I take very seriously the responsibility of protecting my clients’ largest assets.” Whether buying or selling, Colton is always looking out for his clients’ best interests, first and foremost.

When Colton isn’t showing properties or working hard from the office for his clients, you can find him playing volleyball, running miles along the lakefront, winning trivia nights and spending quality time with his long-time friends.
